Dear guest. We are working on this page. For the time being, just ask if you have questions.
How do I get to Patmos:
There are many ways to travel to Patmos. But most start with a flight to Athens. There are also charter flights to some of the islands around Patmos (Leros, Kos, Samos, or Rhodes), all of which have more or less daily boat connections to Patmos.
If you fly to Athens, you have these options to travel to Patmos:
By boat from Pireaus
Blue Star Ferries Monday at 18.00, Tuesday at 15.00, Wednesday at 18.00, Saturday at 23.55 and Sunday at 18.00.
Note that Blue Star Ferries don't usually post their summer schedule until early April, so what we've set up here is what it usually is. You need to plan 2 - 3 hours to get from the airport to Piraeus. You will find more information here.
By plane to one of the nearest islands Leros, Kos and Samos and by boat on to Patmos.
Here you will find the flight routes: Aegean Airways
Information on boat routes: Blue Star Ferries. Dodekanisos Seaways. Nissos Kalimnos.
If the return journey takes place directly from Patmos, you will find information on the same websites.
